Altdeutxche Brotchen

Ingredients

170 gr butter
100 gr sugar
2 eggs
16 gr rum
4 gr vanilla extract
45 ml milk
1 gr cinnamon
9 gr baking powder
280 gr flour unbleached
32 gr almonds
6 gr orange rind
40 gr raisins if desired

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, rum, vanilla, and milk. Mix cinnamon, baking powder, and flour. Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Gently mix in almonds, orange rind, and raisins. Pour batter into greased muffin tins, filling half full. Bake at 190ÂșC . for 25 to 30 minutes, or until browned. Makes 18 muffins.
