Apple Butter Scones

Ingredients

325 gr all purpose flour
50 gr sugar
9 gr baking powder
5 gr baking soda
55 gr butter
85 gr raisins
230 gr apple butter
1 egg
1 vegetable cooking spray additional apple butter for accompaniment

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425�F. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Cut in butter or margarine with pastry cutter or fork until mixtu re resembles coarse crumbs. Add raisins. In a separate bowl combine apple butter and egg. Add flour mixture, stirring j ust until dry ingredients are moistened. Spray 6 cm muffin tins with vegetable cooking spray. Fill almost full wi th batter. Bake at 425�F for 14 to 16 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool s lightly. Serve warm with additional apple butter.
