Applesauce Nut Bread

Ingredients

72 b
200 gr sugar
240 ml applesauce
80 ml vegetable oil
5 gr baking soda
2 gr baking powder
1 gr cinnamon
2 eggs
16 ml milk
250 gr sifted flour
1 gr salt
1 gr nutmeg
100 gr pecans

----------------------------------TOPPING--------------------------------- quarter c Brown sugar; packed quarter c Pecans; chopped quarter ts -ground cinnamon I made this gem yesterday and just HAD to share the recipe with all of you. It's DELICIOUS and so right for the holidays that are just around the corner. (Can that be?) In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine sugar, applesauce, oil, eggs and milk. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Add to applesauce mixture and beat until well combined. Stir in pecans. Turn batter into well greased loaf baking pan. For topping, combine brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Bake at 180ÂșC or 1 hour. Cap loosely with foil after the first 30 minutes of baking. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
