Aunt Martha's Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

230 gr butter
16 gr ginger
200 gr sugar
5 ml soda
240 ml molasses
3 gr salt
450 gr flour

Instructions

Cream butter; add sugar, and cream until smooth. Add molasses. Sift flour with ginger, soda and salt. Add to first mixture. Form into balls the size of a small walnut. Place on greased cookie sheets. Flatten with the back of a tablespoon. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 minutes. Makes about 6 dozen. Helen Jolly ----
