Baked Bean Creole

Ingredients

1 onion
1 garlic clove
2 green bell peppers
3 slices celery stalks
16 gr flour
1 package tomatoes
1 package tomato paste
1 gr basil
1 gr rosemary
525 gr beans of your choice
120 gr breadcrumbs

Instructions

Water Saute onions & garlic lightly in oil. Add pepper & celery. Fry for several minutes til ltender. Stir in the flour & add tomatoes. Add tomato paste & herbs & beans. Mix in breadcrumbs. Add a little water if too dry. Spoon into oiled casserole & sprinkle breadcrumbs on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 180ÂșC . Serve with rice & salsa sauce. Toronto Vegetarian Association
