Banana Cake To Take

Ingredients

1 package cake mix
150 gr mashed ripe bananas
180 ml buttermilk
60 ml orange juice
1 gr orange peel
2 eggs
55 gr butter
170 gr brown sugar
65 gr pecans
30 ml orange juice

Instructions

flour 9 x 13 pan. In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into greased and floured pan. Bake at 180ºC or 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Meanwhile, melt margarine in small saucepan; stir in remaining topping ingredients. Spread over hot cake; broil 2 to 3 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Cool completely. Tip: To substitute for buttermilk, use 2 t. vinegar or lemon juice plus milk to make 0.75 cup. ----
