Banana, Walnut, And Chocolate Chip Fritters *

Ingredients

190 gr all purpose flour
180 ml budweiser beer
28 gr brown sugar
1 egg
9 gr baking powder
10 ml lemon juice
5 gr cornstarch
90 gr walnuts
1/4 pcs
1 gr salt
1 gr cinnamon
180 gr semi-sweet chocolate chips
290 gr bananas
1,400 ml vegetable oil
8 gr confectioners sugar

Instructions

EQUIPMENT: Measuring cup, measuring spoons, cook's knife, cutting board, 3 stainless steel bowls (1 large), slotted spoon, whisk, rubber spatula, deep fryer or heavy-guage 4 litre saucepan, candy/deep frying thermometer, #50 ( 1.5 tablespoon) ice-cream scoop, tongs, baking sheet, paper towels. In a large stainless steel bowl, combine the flour, light brown sugar, baking powder, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside. Peel the bananas. Smash them to a rough-textured consistency in a stainless steel bowl using a slotted spoon (they should yield about 1 cup).
