Beer And Sauerkraut Fudge Cake

Ingredients

150 gr butter
300 gr sugar
3 eggs
4 gr vanilla
45 gr cocoa
280 gr sifted flour
5 gr baking powder
5 ml soda
240 ml beer
5/8 sauerkraut
170 gr raisins
140 gr nuts

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Sift cocoa, flour, baking powder, soda and salt together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with beer, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in sauerkraut. Raisins and nuts are optional. Turn into two 8 or 23 cm greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 180ÂșC or 35 minutes. Cool and frost as desired.
