Ingredients

250 gr sugar
230 gr butter
45 ml sweet sherry
1 egg
375 gr all purpose flour
9 gr baking powder
4 gr anise seed
1 gr salt
3 gr cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix 1 cup sugar, butter, sherry and egg in large bowl. Stir in I flour, baking powder, anise and salt. Mix well. Divide dough in half. Roll each 0. 13 cm thick on lightly floured board. Cut into shapes using cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Mix together quarter cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle mixture over cookies.
