Braune Zucker Platzchen

Ingredients

325 gr brown sugar
3 gr cinnamon
130 gr shortening
2 eggs
1 gr salt
30 ml milk
250 gr unbleached flour
6 gr orange rind
170 gr raisins
9 gr baking powder
65 gr nuts

Instructions

Cream sugar and shortening until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, milk and orange rind. Stir togethr baking powder, spices, salt and flour. Mix into sugar mixture. Stir in raisins and nuts, if used. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 180ÂșC . about 10 to dozen minutes, or until done. Remove from baking sheets and cool cookies on rack. Store in airtight tins. Makes about 4 to 5 dozen cookies. ----
