Buttery Caramel Quicks

Ingredients

75 gr butter
150 gr brown sugar
16 ml water
250 gr flour
50 gr sugar
12 gr baking powder
3 gr salt
160 ml milk
3 gr cinnamon
45 gr pecans

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In 23 cm square pan, melt butter. Stir in one third cup brown sugar and water. Set aside.

In large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add milk all at once, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn out onto well-floured surface. Roll out to a 12x10 inch rectangle. Combine one third cup brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Sprinkle over dough. Roll up starting with 30 cm side. Cut into 3 cm slices; place cut-side down in prepared pan. Bake at 220ÂșC or 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown. Turn out immediately. Serve hot.
