Cherry Pound Cake

Ingredients

600 gr sugar
95 gr shortening
230 gr butter
5 eggs
375 gr all purpose flour
2 gr baking powder
1 gr salt
6 gr cherry flavoring
240 ml milk
120 ml cherries in juice

Instructions

Cream sugar, shortening and butter; add eggs, one at a time. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cherry flavoring alternately with milk. Beat until creamy. Stir in cherries. Bake in greased tube pan at 160ºC or 1 hour and then increase heat to 180ºC or 30 minutes.
