Cherry Upside Down Cake

Ingredients

55 gr margarine
200 gr sugar
2 cherries sour best
190 gr flour
9 gr baking powder
1 gr salt
1 egg
120 ml milk
36 gr shortening melted

Instructions

Melt the quarter c. margarine in a 23 cm pan. Add cherries mixed with the half c. sugar. To make cake, mix the flour, half c. sugar, baking powder, salt, 1 beaten egg, half c. milk and 3 tablespoons of melted shortening. Bake about 30 mins in a 400 degree oven. IMMEDIATELY after baking, invert and put on a serving plate! **This is an old receipe of my grandmother's. There were no baking times, oven temperatures and few measurements in the original receipe!
