Chinese Chews

Ingredients

2 eggs
200 gr sugar
65 gr flour
2 gr baking powder
1 gr salt
150 gr dates
140 gr nuts

Instructions

Beat eggs until light. Add sugar and blend. Sift together dry ingredients, add to egg mixture. Stir in dates and nuts. Spread mixture in well buttered pan and bake in slow oven 150ÂșC . about 20 minutes. When cool cut into squares and roll in granulated sugar.
