Chocolate Almond Crisps * Part 1 Of 2

Ingredients

90 gr almonds
12 gr granulated sugar
2 egg whites
1 ml cream of tartar
1 gr salt
1 gr almond extract
3 gr cornstarch
4 gr confectioners sugar
170 gr semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 pcs
36 ml cream
130 gr butter
2 baking sheets
1,400 ml saucepan
26 gr sugar
1/8 in size

Instructions

gradually add half cup granulated sugar. The egg whites should form peaks that are stiff, but not dry, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add almond extract and whisk on high for an additional 30 seconds. Remove the bowl from the mixer and use a rubber spatula to fold in the chopped almonds and cornstarch. Directions Continued >>>
