Cocoa Fudge Cake

Ingredients

250 gr butter
900 gr sugar
3 eggs
20 gr vanilla
280 gr cake flour sifted
45 gr cocoa
40 gr baking powder
475 ml milk
1 fudge frosting
32 gr cocoa
65 gr corn syrup
1 gr salt
4 gr vanilla

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and mix til blended. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating after each addition until blended. Bake in 2 greased and floured 9x 4 cm pans at 180ÂșC for 25 minutes. Butter sides of a heavy 3 litre saucepan. Combine cocoa, sugar, corn syrup, salt, and milk. Cook ans stir over low heat til sugar dissolves. Cook to soft ball stage (234F) without stirring.
