Colin's Curry

Ingredients

1 onion
2 green chilies
2 garlic
1 gr aniseed
1/4 caraway seed
1 gr fenugreek seed
1 gr coriander seed
1 gr cumin seed
6 cardamom pods
4 gr turmeric
1 gr chile powder
220 gr tomatoes
3 gr salt
26 ml corn oil
240 gr basmati rice
950 ml water
1 bay leaf
5 gr sal if the mixture is dry

Instructions

* cook the meat and sauce to order. * Plain yoghurt may be substituted for the tomatoes if preferred. * Experiment with the seasonings.
