Country Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

140 gr shortening
500 gr sugar
4 eggs
500 gr pumpkin
160 ml water
450 gr all purpose flour
2 gr baking powder
10 ml soda
3 gr salt
3 gr cinnamon
2 gr allspice
120 gr black walnuts
110 gr raisins

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350. Cream shortening, sugar, and eggs. Stir in pumpkin and water. Mix together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and spices. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Fold in nuts and raisins. Spoon bater into two greased and floured 9x5 inch loaf pans and bake for one hour, or until bread tests done with a toothpick. Yield: 2 loaves
