Crock Pot Stew

Ingredients

1 onion
2 garlic
290 gr potatoes
140 gr cabbage
1 carrot
30 gr rice
450 gr beef round
350 ml beef broth
180 ml wine
60 ml ketchup
9 gr brown sugar
7 ml apple cider vinegar
3 gr thyme
3 gr chili powder
2 ml dry mustard
1 gr black pepper

Instructions

In large crockpot, combine onion, garlic, potatoes, cabbage, carrot, and rice. Add meat. In 4-cup measure or similar bowl, stir together broth, wine, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, thyme, chili powder, mustard, and black pepper. Pour mixture over meat and vegetables. Cover crockpot and cook 1 hour on High. Stir meat and vegetables into sauce, and cook an additional 6.5 to 8 hours on low.
