Crockpot Chicken And Cornmeal Dumplings

Ingredients

280 gr green beans
280 gr chicken
300 gr potatoes
400 ml chicken broth
1/2 v
8 juice
3 gr chili powder
6 drops
1 nbsp
40 gr cornmeal
3 gr parsley
50 gr celery
60 gr onion
1 gr salt
1 1/4 biscuit baking mix
120 gr american cheese
160 ml milk

Instructions

Thaw beans by placing in strainer and run hot water over beans. Transfer to crockpot. Add chicken, potatoes, chicken broth, V-8, celery, onion, chili powder, salt, and hot pepper sauce, mixed together. Cover. Cook on low for 4 hours. Turn to high setting and heat until bubbly. Add water at this point if needed.

Combine biscuit mix, cornmeal, half cup cheese, and parsley. Add milk and stir until just moistened. Drop by tablespoons onto stew; cover. Cook 2- half hours more (don't lift cover). Sprinkle dumplings with remainder of cheese.
