Crockpot Crab Soup

Ingredients

270 gr crabmeat
475 ml milk
45 gr butter
2 lemon peel
1 gr mace
1 salt and pepper
30 ml dry sherry
65 gr saltine crackers

Instructions

Combine all ingredients except sherry and crushed crackers in crockpot; stir well. Cover and cook on Low setting for 3 to 5 hours. Just before serving, stir in sherry and crumbs to thicken. Makes about 2 litre .

Note: You may also add shrimp to this soup for variation.
