Curried Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients

6 pork loin chops
3 gr lemon-pepper seasoning
2 gr thyme
30 ml cooking oil
1 lowfat milk
1 package fat
10 3/4 oun
120 ml apple juice
120 gr long rice
50 gr celery
85 gr golden raisins
2 gr curry powder

Instructions

Trim fat from meat. Sprinkle chops with lemon-pepper seasoning and thyme. In a large skillet brown chops in hot oil over medium-high heat about 4 minutes, t urning once. Set chops aside.

In a medium saucepan stir together the 1% lowfat milk, soup, and apple juice un til combined. Stir in the rice, celery, raisins, and curry powder. Bring mixt ure just to boiling.

Transfer rice mixture to a 3 litre rectangular baking dish. Top with chops. C over and bake in a 350� oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until chops and rice are te nder. Makes 6 servings.
