Double Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

220 gr all purpose flour
2 gr baking soda
1 gr salt
100 gr sugar
95 gr shortening
180 ml creamy peanut butter
85 gr corn syrup
16 ml milk
1 recipe by southern living
110 gr peanut butter with pastry blender until mixture

Instructions

resembles coarse meal. Stir in corn syrup and milk. Shape dough into a 30 cm roll; wrap in wax paper, and chill at least 2 hours. Unwrap roll, and cut into 1 cm slices; place half of slices on ungreased cookie sheets. Spread each with half teaspoon peanut butter. Top with remaining cookie slices, and seal edges with a fork. Bake at 350 about 2 dozen. NOTE: Dough may be frozen up to 3 months. Slice dough while frozen; let thaw slightly. Assemble and bake as directed. ----
