Down-home Ribs

Ingredients

14 gr butter
40 gr onion
240 ml catsup
120 ml water
60 ml lemon juice
30 ml cider vinegar
28 gr jack daniels tennessee
28 gr brown sugar
16 ml worcestershire sauce
5 ml mustard
1 gr chili powder
1 gr pepper
1,300 gr pork spareribs

Instructions

In saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onion. Cook, stirring, 3 minutes or until soft. Stir in remaining ingredients except ribs; bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring often, 20 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place ribs in single layer in two baking pans. Bake 1.5 hours or until tender. Drain and discard drippings from pans. Spread half of the barbeque sauce evenly over the ribs. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake ribs 15 minutes. Turn and brush with remaining sauce. Bake 15 minutes. Serve!
