Farmer's Bran Bread

Ingredients

250 gr flour
14 gr baking powder
2 gr baking soda
50 gr sugar
2 gr salt
1 egg
1 bran
24 gr melted shortening
28 gr melted butter
240 ml sour milk

Instructions

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt in bowl. Beat egg, add sour milk and bran; stir to mix. Add melted shortening and stir into flour mixture. Place on floured board and roll to 1 cm thickness. Cut into rectangles 2 x 8 cm. Brush top with melted butter.
