Festive Fruitcake W/ Sweet Apricot Glaze

100 gr granulated sugar
110 gr brown sugar

60 ml orange juice
60 ml orange-flavored liqueur
6 gr lemon peel
4 gr vanilla extract
1 gr nutmeg
1 gr baking soda

130 gr flour until thoroughly blended

Instructions

Note: If desired, wrap cool cake first in cheesecloth soaked in orange-flavored liqueur or brandy before wrapping in foil for storing. EASY APRICOT GLAZE: In small saucepan over very low heat, stir half cup apricot preserves until melted and warm.
