Fig Bars

Ingredients

110 gr butter
220 gr brown sugar
3 eggs
2 gr lemon peel
4 gr vanilla
130 gr flour
5 gr baking powder
1 gr salt
220 gr figs

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, peel and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt; blend into creamed mixture. Stir in figs. Pour into greased 13 X 9 X 5 cm baking pan. Bake at 180ÂșC for 25 minutes. Cool; cut into bars. Makes 32 bars.
