Fig Chess Tarts

Ingredients

325 gr flour
350 gr butter
50 gr sugar
45 ml water
6 egg yolks
4 gr vanilla
2 gr lemon peel
450 gr brown sugar
240 ml milk
16 gr flour
3 gr cinnamon
1 gr nutmeg
150 gr california figs
100 gr walnuts for tart shells

Instructions

until filling is bubbly. Makes about 2 dozen tarts of muffin-cup size.
