Fig Squares

Ingredients

150 gr figs
80 gr crystallized ginger
200 gr powdered sugar
30 ml lemon juice
80 gr coconut
1 gr salt
110 gr nuts

Instructions

Combine figs, nuts, salt, and ginger. Put through food chopper using medium knife. Add lemon juice. Knead into a paste on a board dredged with powdered sugar. Roll thin. Cut in 3 cm squares. Put together in layers of three, sprinkling the coconut between the layers. Mrs. R.F. Higginbotham, Covington, OK.
