Fresh Apple Quiche

Ingredients

65 gr bulk sausage
60 gr onion
1 gr thyme
2 delicious apples pared
16 ml lemon juice
14 gr sugar
60 gr cheese
4 eggs
475 ml cream
1 single deep dish pie crust

Instructions

In large skillet, cook sausage, onion and thyme until sausage is brown and onio ns tender, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain off excess fat. In a bowl, toss apples with lemon juice and sugar. Add prepared sausage mixture, cheese, eggs and cream or milk. Mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 180ÂșC or 40 or 45 minutes, or until custard is set. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
