Friendship Cake Starter Fruit Mixture

Ingredients

250 gr pineapple chunks
1 maraschino cherries
240 gr peaches
600 gr sugar
85 gr brandy combine pineapple
400 gr sugar
7,200 gr brandy in a glass
2 weeks
2 weeks cherries
28 gr brandy
2 more weeks

Instructions

Add peaches, 1 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons brandy. Let stand 2 more weeks, stirring daily. Sixth week. Strain fruit from the juice using a plastic strainer. Do NOT use metal strainer. Use fruit for ice cream topping, etc. Juice is starter for Friendship Cake, 1 pint per batch. Note. Use fruit in juice NOT syrup. Never refrigerate the starter. Day one must start within 3 or 4 days after the fruit has been drained. ----
