German Prune Coffeecake

Ingredients

110 gr butter
100 gr sugar
6 gr salt
1/2 lemon extract
80 ml warm water
1 package yeast
4 gr sugar
2 eggs
450 gr flour
1 prunes
100 gr sugar
1/2 milk
1/2 water does have to be scalded
80 ml warm water with
4 gr sugar
20 times

Instructions

portions and roll each to a rectangle. Place dough on a cookie sheet. Put half of prunes in each center and dough down each side towads the center. Cover with a clean cloth and let rise in a warm place. Dot with butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Bake at 180ºC F until light brown, about 20-25 minutes. Makes 2 large coffeecakes. Margaret Garland DFYX18A
