Slash fat edge of ham. Whisk briskly the ginger ale, orange juice, brown sugar, vegetable oil, ginger, mustard and cloves. Pour over ham in a shallow dish. Refrigerate at least 2 hours and preferably overnight. Spoon marinade over ham frequently.
