Grandma Searles' Custard Pie

Ingredients

130 gr all purpose flour
3 gr salt
5 lard
70 gr butter
75 ml water
1 filling
6 eggs
200 gr sugar
475 ml milk
1 nutmeg for sprinkling
9 deep pie with the pastry

Instructions

Beat together the eggs, sugar and milk, and pour into the pie shell. Sprinkle generously with nutmeg. Bake the pie for 10 minutes. Lower the heat to 180ÂșC and bake for 30 to 45 minutes more or until the custard has set. Serve the pie cold.
