Grapenut Bread

Ingredients

140 gr grapenuts
1 egg
475 ml milk
375 gr flour
100 gr sugar
18 gr baking powder
3 gr salt

Instructions

Combine grapenuts, egg, and milk. Let stand half hour, add sugar. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt. Add to first mixture. Mix thoroughly. Pour into well-oiled loaf pan. Bake in moderate oven (400 F) about 1 hour. 1 loaf. Mrs. George Hale, Geary, OK. ----
