Grated Apple Pie

Ingredients

4 apples
250 gr sugar
1 gr cinnamon
28 gr butter
1 pastry for double crust

Instructions

Wash apples and grate (do not peel). Add 1 cup sugar and the cinnamon; mix well. Spoon mixture into pastry lined 23 cm pie pan. Cover top with lattice strips. Dot with butter and sprinkle with quarter cup sugar, if desired. Bake at 180ÂșC for 1 hour or until browned. ----
