Hazelnut Apple Pancakes

Ingredients

160 gr flour
1 gr hazelnuts
9 gr baking powder
2 gr baking soda
1 egg beaters
99 egg substitute
1 egg
325 ml nonfat milk
60 ml applesauce
1 granny smith apple peel
2 gr vanilla

Instructions

NOTE: Recipe adjusted from the original to lower the fat content. Original recipe called for one third C hazelnuts I used quarter C. It also calls for 2 T butter, melted (optional), I chose to omit it or in the future to use Wonderslim instead of the butter.

NOTE: To toast hazelnutes bake on sheetpan till golden brown and hull starts to break off. Rub hull to remove. Grind to nice fine meal.

In bowl put flour, hazelnuts, baking powder, baking soda, applesauce, egg beaters, nonfat milk, and vanilla. Stir till it comes together.

Add apple or any fruit you prefer.

Can make any size you want. When top bubbles flip them over.

Makes about 1 dozen.
