Heidelberg Meat Loaf

Ingredients

700 gr beef
3 slices rye bread
240 ml beer
1 egg
30 gr onion
3 gr salt
1 caraway seed
1 gr celery seed
1 gr pepper

Instructions

Heat the oven to 180ÂșC . Mix all of the ingredients together. Spread the mixture into an ungreased loaf pan, 9 X 5 X 8 cm. Bake uncovered for 1 to 1.25 hours. Drain off the excess fat and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Serve on a heated platter.
