Herbed Beef Stew

Ingredients

900 gr beef stew meat
30 ml cooking oil
700 ml water
1 onion
6 gr pepper
3 gr two salt
5 gr garlic powder
1 gr rosemary
2 gr oregano
1 gr basil
1 majoram
2 bay leaves
300 gr cubed potatoes
260 gr carrots
1 green pepper
1 package green beans
1 package peas
1 package corn kernels
1/4 muxhrooms
3 tomatoes

Instructions

Brown meat in oil in a Dutch oven. Add water, onion, seasonings and tomato paste. Cover and simmer for 1- half hours or until meat is tender. Stir in potatoes, carrots and green pepper; simmer 30 minutes. Add additional water if necessary. Stir in remaining ingredients; cover and simmer 20 minutes. SOURCE: "Taste of Home" Premiere Edition
