Hobo Bread

Ingredients

325 gr raisins
18 gr baking soda
475 ml boiling water let stand overnigh in morning
60 ml oil
2 eggs
1 gr salt
300 gr sugar
500 gr flour
4 gr vanilla
2 loaf pans
240 gr coffee tins
1 hr
270 gr maraschino cherries
290 gr dates
270 gr pecans
450 gr coffee tins

Instructions

Peggy Butherus--My version of fruitcake. I received the recipe from a lady over 25 years ago for Hobo Bread and added my favorie fruit, nuts, etc for a fruit cake. Anyone that has told me they hate fruitcake, wants this recipe. It's very moist. Enjoy. ----
