Indonesian Chili Peanut Sauce

Ingredients

10 ml oil
3 gr garlic
110 gr peanut butter
120 ml chicken stock
10 ml cider vinegar
2 karo
5 ml black soy sauce
10 ml sesame oil

Instructions

Heat oil in a pan; add garlic and saut� 30 seconds. Add peanut butter, and stir until blended. Add the rest of ingredients. Heat, stirring constantly with a whisk, until the sauce is smooth and just beginning to boil. Serve. Variation: Add half a very ripe, thoroughly mashed banana just before serving.
