Italian Chili

Ingredients

230 gr beef
1 onion
65 gr green pepper
50 gr celery
10 milliliters garlic
525 gr tomatoes
475 gr kidney beans
350 ml tomatoe juice
110 gr tomatoe paste
50 gr pepperoni
1 1/2 italian seasoning
1 gr salt
2 gr sugar
1 gr pepper

Instructions

Brown beef in large frying pan, drain. Add onion, green pepper, celery and garlic. Cook until pepper and celery are soft (about 5 minutes). In 5 litre saucepan or crock pot combine remaining ingredients. Mix well. Stir in ground beef and vegetables. Simmer 30 minutes or more (as much as two hours for full flavor).
