Jager-eintopf

Ingredients

180 gr onions
3 gr salt
40 gr mushrooms
1 gr pepper
30 ml vegetable oil
3 potatoes
450 gr beef
45 gr butter
240 ml beef broth
2 eggs
1 gr nutmeg
4 apples
2 ml worcestershire sauce
55 gr bread crumbs
2 gr nutmeg
2 gr salt
1 gr pepper
9 gr butter

Instructions

in eggs and remaining nutmeg. Peel, core, and slice apples. Layer mixtures in a 1.5-quart buttered baking dish. Spread one third of potatoes on bottom of dish. Top with half of the meat mixture and half of the apples. Continue with layers, ending with a layer of potatoes. Sprinkle the top with bread crumbs, and dot with remaining butter. Bake at 190ºC . for 45 minutes and then at 200ºC . for 10 minutes more. ----
