Jalapeno Cornbread
Ingredients
40 gr sharp cheddar cheese
2 jalapeno peppers
240 ml cream style corn
120 gr cornmeal
3 eggs
3 gr salt
2 gr baking soda
180 ml buttermilk
120 ml corn oil
28 gr butter
110 gr cheese
1 1/2 casserole
9 oven proof frying
Instructions
butter is hot. Pour cornbread mixture into the pan and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake until golden, about 35 minutes. Makes 8 servings [COOKS; Jul/Aug 1988]
