Javanese Pork Sate

Ingredients

260 gr pork loin
28 gr smooth peanut butter
60 gr onion
1 clove garlic
30 ml lemon juice
30 ml soy sauce
14 gr brown sugar
1 ml pepper sauce
16 ml cooking oil

Instructions

Cut pork into 1 cm cubes. Blend remaining ingredients together (a blender does this well) Marinate pork in this mixture for several hours to overnight. Thread pork on skewers and grill over hot coals for eight to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until done. Note: If using bamboo skewers, soak skewers in water for one hour or longer to prevent burning.
