IN A SAUCEPAN, combine the vinegar, sugar, ketchup, ginger, salt and Tabasco sauce; bring to a boil. Continue cooking over high heat and reduce to the consistency of a light syrup that lightly coats a spoon. Makes 1.5 Cups
