Lady Baltimore Cake Ii

Ingredients

230 gr butter
60 ml sweetened condensed milk
180 ml water
18 gr baking powder
4 gr vanilla
450 gr cake flour
1 gr salt
375 gr sugar
6 egg whites
3 gr orange flavoring

Instructions

Cream butter. Add gradually sugar which has been sifted before measuring. Beat until smooth and creamy. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt. Combine milk and water. Add alternately with dry ingredients to first mixture. Add flavorings. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into well-oiled layer cake pans. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) about 35 minutes.
