Lemon Butter Cookies

Ingredients

230 gr butter
400 gr sugar
2 eggs
60 ml milk
2 lemon extract
1 gr salt
575 gr all purpose flour
9 gr baking powder
1 gr baking soda

Instructions

Colored sugar; optional Recipe by: TASTE OF HOME OCT/NOV 95 In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, milk and extract. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to 0 cm thickness. Cut with a 5 cm cookie cutter dipped in flour. Place 5 cm apart on ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle with colored sugar if desired. Bake at 180ÂșC or 8-9 minutes or until the edges just begin to brown. Remove ----
