Liebes-knoten

Ingredients

120 gr eggs
120 ml cream
65 gr sugar
1 gr salt
2 gr vanilla
375 gr flour

Instructions

Beat eggs well with electric mixer. Add sugar and beat well. Add salt and vanilla. Mixture will be thin. Gradually add flour, having mixer at low speed. Mixture should now be in cookie dough form. Roll very thin on lightly floured board. Cut into 1 cm strips with knife or pastry cutter. Cut in crosswise strips, 4 cm long. Give each strip a double twist to resemble a bow. Fry in deep fat, 190ÂșC . When brown, roll in sifted powdered sugar. ----
