Light Brownies

Ingredients

75 gr butter
65 gr shortening mixed with
16 ml water
220 gr brown sugar
1 egg
4 gr vanilla
130 gr flour
2 gr baking powder
1 gr baking soda
110 gr semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 gr salt
65 gr nuts

Instructions

Melt butter (or shortening with water) in sauce pan over medium heat. Remove from heat, add to brown sugar and mix well. Allow mixture to cool. Stir in egg and vanilla. Add remaining dry ingredients and mix well. Pour mixture into greased baking pan (8x8 or 11x7). Bake at 350 deg. F for 20 to 25 minutes. Anne Duke
